Guys, i need your imagination and honest opinion in 1 hour starting now. IMO, its kinda small for a q45 with eibachs. but with less than 1400 a set for brand new wheels and tires, shipped with road hazard warranty for the tires. for me its a good deal, right? what do you think?

pls keep the insights flowing, i asked them to give me an hour to decide before they give them to others.

i have no pic. im only using my phone right now but i can txt it to you as picture message. Its not forged, mesh-styled spokes, with a blue line on the center cap. rex told me its a old and discontinued design from work wheels.

thanks in advace to those who will reply.

1. The Q45 is a heavy car. Make sure that the wheel is capable. IMHO, you are probably better off buying a used set of 17 or 18" G35 wheels. I did this for my 1995 Q45 and it worked out well (pictures are in a recent wheels thread here somewhere in this forum!).

2. The UHP seems to be getting decent reviews at Tire Rack, but I have absolutely no experience with those tires. The manufacturer is not known for performance tires, though (as far as I know), so be prepared to be disappointed. Why not try the Avon M500 or M550 in that size? It is probably a better tire and quite cost-effective!

3. The 245/45-17 is a decent size for that car - just make sure that your wheels are at least 7.5" in width.

4. Also, make sure that the load index of the tire you do select is at least 95 (preferably higher).

Good luck with the decision,

Z

I'm happy with the size of mine. I have the 17" 350Z wheels with 235/50 rear and 225/50 front. Mine is still stock height but I have Cali Customs and Tokico's to put on and I think it'll be awesome once it's dropped. I like the 50 series myself because I like a little meatier tire, not the "rubber band" look but with a 245/45 the sidewall should be pretty close to what I have. Wheel width and offset could drastically change the look tho.

I don't know if I'd buy anything without seeing them but that's just me. If you know what they look like and like it I say go for it. I'm gonna try and google that wheel to see if I can find a photo.

Its 17 x 8 +38 all around. Multidrill 4/5 x 114.3 And general exclaim is 95 V 320 AA A. Only 23 lbs compare with 26.x for avon m500. And higher overall rating compare with bridgesto potenza, kumho, avon from tirerack.

They're a true 2 piece Work brand wheel, they are a maker of quality wheels, primarily distributed in Japan. Several of the lines they offer are forged. Though it's probably worth asking them for the load rating (in kgs) of the wheels. Anything over 640kgs is sufficient.

You know my thoughts .

The correct size is 255/45-17, but you should have 8.5" wide wheels.

General are built down to a price. Check out the Avon Tech M500 for a non top tier performance tire.

It would be best. Contact the seller and see what the "bore size" is, then check with TireRack, they should ahve some to match that boire to your car.
