Somebody on Altimacoupes.com posted a thread stating it was 35 for the coupe. I don't know where he got his info.

Thanks for the quick answer, but I will do some more checking. The altima you have will be the exact one that my wife gets as the Jeep is a little to hot for her. How would you think your car would look with 5 spoke chrome wheels ? Besides black is the fastest color.

I'm looking into getting 18" Black Chrome rims. The tire size I want is a 235/45/18 which is an exact match for Dimemsions with the current tire. I will then use the current size tire and rims for winter tires. I think the Black chrome would look fantastic because the Chrome would bring out the accents of the car with a hint of black to match the car. The rim dealers seem to think that a 40+ offset would be fine and would not have any Rubbing with the wider tires. I would like more confirmation myself on this as well as the offset of the OEM rims.

Sounds like you have a good plan.Snow is not a factor where we are, that was a reason to move here, from N.E. and golf of course, I went to Discount Tire Direct today and found they must have hundreds of wheels from dozens of mfgs., and our wheels will accept tons of them. They said that as long as you have a positive mm offset you would be good and not hit the fender. A minus offset would be NG. So it sounds that your 40 mm offset would be fine. Are you looking at black/chrome or black/polished ?

I am looking at Black Chrome. The BOSS 318s or 304s are possibilities right now. I really like the Chrome with the hint of black effect for the Black Coupe. I don't want pure Black rims because so much of the car is black (trim, window shading) that I think the car needs chrome to offset that. If you tint the windows, it would look almost completely black. The black Chrome is a little different from all of the pure chrome wheels which gives it some uniqueness as well.

Good luck to you ,I am still looking to decide. I probably would have to go down to Phoenix to find a Boss dealer. Oh well I have dozens of others to choose from.
