do you think that will clear with an offset of +15 with no stretch? and on a side note i think you left a nico club buisness card on my car it said pahc lol, btw that was a while agoOutToWinPAHC wrote:235-45-16 is almost the same size diameter as stock. Would not bulge or stretch.
my gf lives 6135 of wa**** , I've been driving my explorer as of late because of the snowOutToWinPAHC wrote:Do you live on my street? Philadelphia, on the 6100 block?
oh man your block is the place to be lol, my sister also lives on the corner of the 6200 block.OutToWinPAHC wrote:Okay, yes it was me. I live on the 6200 block, as does another S13 Sil-eighty SR swapped
are your fenders pulled at all??biggie wrote:235 should be good, I've got 235/45/17 all around on 9" wheels with +12 offset. Just don't go above that on front can run into rubbing on the backside of the wheel well when turning.
my thing is I can't pull the rear at all because rust on drivers quarter it's not alot but it'll def crack. so you think my best bet is a 235 with some camber? I can pull the front but that would most likely look silly if it's just the frontbiggie wrote:Yeah, pulled about 3/4 to 1 inch in rear, probably 1/2 inch in front.
I'm anxcious too lol I'm just gonna buy a pair of used tires for 25 bucks this way if the fitment sucks I'm only out 25 but because this annoying snow it'll be like another week or so before I can put them on2slowdy87 wrote:Post pics when you get them on. Im axious to see how they look.
i know but i just get worried when putting out alotta money w/o knowing for sure and its not terrible ive seen hondas with worse its just enough to be annoying if any one wants to be neighborly in the philly region and help me fix that its it would be sweet lolOutToWinPAHC wrote:9 at +15 isn't too bad. I cant see the need to pull PULL. Maybe fold the lip some I use a 17x9 with a 275-40-17 in the rear and I am not pulled. So thats a bulgy tire at 25.7 inch round where a 234-45-16 is 24.3. You offset makes your wheel sick out .787 inches more then mine but your tire will be square, and mine bulge. As long as your ride height is proper, I don't think they are rubbing. I'd like to see the rust.
my brother has a welder but it's not a great one i don't know if it's a poor quality one but any one I know who claims to weld makes bird poop welds with it I'll let you know how it works out if i need assistance once it gets warmer I'll let you know but thank youOutToWinPAHC wrote:Me and bill are a block away, we both have welders..... thats not a hard fix at all.
