hey just bought those 16x9 +15 square wheels that enjuku racing was selling since it was a decent deal and i wanted to have something a little lighter than my rota p45rs for my 90 hatch, they recommend a tire size of " 205/45/16 on front and 225/45/16 in the rear." i trust enjuku but is that right cause dont most (of the few people who run 16's) run a 50 sidewall thickness it seems like that would be much smaller than stock. and if you look at this link ( http://www.enjukuracing.com/images/g6front.jpg ) theres alota wheel gap. but i dont know if it just looks small because of the aero, btw any input would be greatly apperciated. and my fenders are rolled with megan track coils that are maxed out and just bought some rucas if i need increase my rear camber, and i cant pull to fit large tires because of some quarter rust... im more worried about the fronts than the rears. thank you for any help

That's a sissy-a$$ tire size.

Second, staggering tire sizes on non-staggered rims? Dumb.

Your OEM size has a OD of 24.7". You want to stay close to that.

I'd recommend a 225/50/16 all the way around. Cheap, plentiful, and looks better than that silly stretch.

(Actually, I'd be rocking a 245/45/16, but I like wide tires. $90 a tire thru my source, too. )

i hate stretch too... i love some actual tire to use! no point having good wide wheels if you're not gonna throw good tires on them

my street tires are 225/60/15 on 7" wide and my track setup is 275/35/15 on 10" wide

235-45-16 is almost the same size diameter as stock. Would not bulge or stretch.

235 should be good, I've got 235/45/17 all around on 9" wheels with +12 offset. Just don't go above that on front can run into rubbing on the backside of the wheel well when turning.

Yeah, pulled about 3/4 to 1 inch in rear, probably 1/2 inch in front.

my thing is I can't pull the rear at all because rust on drivers quarter it's not alot but it'll def crack. so you think my best bet is a 235 with some camber? I can pull the front but that would most likely look silly if it's just the front

1.5 camber or so in the rear should clear, depending on spring/coil setup/height.

9 at +15 isn't too bad. I cant see the need to pull PULL. Maybe fold the lip some I use a 17x9 with a 275-40-17 in the rear and I am not pulled. So thats a bulgy tire at 25.7 inch round where a 234-45-16 is 24.3. You offset makes your wheel sick out .787 inches more then mine but your tire will be square, and mine bulge. As long as your ride height is proper, I don't think they are rubbing. I'd like to see the rust.

245/45/16 on a 16x8 +15 looks okay.
A little much in the front..

There is a lot more camber now in the rear. Not sure how much because I haven't had a chance to get it on a machine.. Plus the coilovers weren't 100% even at the time this was taken..

I can get more recent pictures if interested..
