hey just bought those 16x9 +15 square wheels that enjuku racing was selling since it was a decent deal and i wanted to have something a little lighter than my rota p45rs for my 90 hatch, they recommend a tire size of " 205/45/16 on front and 225/45/16 in the rear." i trust enjuku but is that right cause dont most (of the few people who run 16's) run a 50 sidewall thickness it seems like that would be much smaller than stock. and if you look at this link ( http://www.enjukuracing.com/images/g6front.jpg ) theres alota wheel gap. but i dont know if it just looks small because of the aero, btw any input would be greatly apperciated. and my fenders are rolled with megan track coils that are maxed out and just bought some rucas if i need increase my rear camber, and i cant pull to fit large tires because of some quarter rust... im more worried about the fronts than the rears. thank you for any help

I'd go with the 225/45/16 all around to be honest. I have 225/50/16's and that tall sidewall looks disgusting.

A 205 on a 9 inch wheel is too narrow for my tastes.

Anyone telling you to run a 205 on a 9 inch wheel is an idiot. 245 is about right for that but you can go 255 just fine.

I have 16x8.5+27 Kosei K1's. If I buy another set of tires for these wheels instead of buying new wheels, I'll be getting 245/45/16's all around like flohtingPoint suggested. It'll sit on the wheel much like Z32 twin turbo's rear wheel/tire OEM setup, since they're 16x8.5 with 245/45's as well.

But when I first got these wheels, they came with 225/45's, and I liked the subtle stretch on them. When I had to buy new tires, I went with 225/50's and now I hate the bulbous look that they have.

But to be honest, I really hate the tire selection for 16's and I'd rather not bump up to anything like a 245 tire until I get rid of these wheels and get a set that I really like.

Here's a picture of 245/45's on 16x9's all around. Not too bad at all.

225, 245 or 255... Take your pick. But 45 profile for sure. With a +15 offset though, the 225's are probably the only ones that won't need a pull if you're really low. Thats way I said the 225's...

Those 245's fit it fairly well, but it looks like a 255 is a perfect fit. Then again, with different tires comes different tread width. Case in point, I have some A6 205's on 7 inch wheels that is a taller stack than my V710 215's on 8's.

^^^Exactly. I've seen some 245's sitting way more square on a 9 inch wheel than those above. They seem to look good on that car, though. But on an S13 with 16x9+15's? Get ready for some fender work or about -3 degrees of camber up front...

Nothing an angle grinder and some over-fenders cannot fix =)

Yeah, just warning the OP what he's in for. I don't mind fender work, but personally, I hate most overfenders or flares.

alrighty i deff know a 255 is not gonna fit the body( i know that it would properly fit the wheel) , but you think a 225/45/16 will fit with a little camber on an s13?
i thought about getting overfenders and a kit but a wide body with 9 inch wide wheels would be weak imo and id wanna go bigger, i woulda saved and got like a 17x12 or something crazy

A 225 will not properly fit the wheel. You can get the bead to seat, but it'll be stretched. A 245/255 is going to properly fit the wheel. Fender rolling is far from complicated, you have ricers doing it daily. I'd say get a proper fitting tire so you dont have exaggerated wear, bad wet traction, chance of blowing due to stress that the tire is not designed/tested for.

Just a heads up, but a 255 tire on a 9+15 is gonna poke out in a major way. Gonna need more than a roll for that.

I'd much rather recommend a 235 tire for the OP, but good luck finding a 235/45/16...

I got the same wheels comming aswell. I get a decent deal on bridgestones and Re11 only come in 205/45, 205/55, and 225/50. Is it going to look rediculous in 225/50s?
