Went to the track tonite and ran 15-16psi on 112 with stock timing.

I borrowed some slicks from a friend but couldnt get them to hook up because of my crazy wheelhop situation. I somehow got a [email protected], then a [email protected] then a 13.5@105.

Im gonna stop any engine work and get my bushings and subframe spacers.

Sounds frustrating. Can't wait to see your times with those slicks though.

At 16 psi with Dunlop 245-17 tires and open diff, I managed to pull a 13.4. With a VLSD in, the same tires netted a 12.7. A set of slicks netted 11.71 @118.54

Stock 91 with Eibach sportlines over Toikiko blues. ACT Max PP with street disk. Only the spare tire and jack were removed from the car to make it lighter. This car is a hatch, has a sunroof, has PW and PDL, and the AC still works.

You should be faster, but I hear you on the wheelhop situation. I don't have wheelhop, I just have lack of traction. I am only running 8.7 psi but I will be running 1 bar in a couple weeks. Structure has my new fuel rail held captive.

I want slicks......

Good luck with that! Yeah, the wheelhop situation is uber-ghey. I can get the tires to spin for about .25 seconds, then it feels like the whole rear subframe vibrates violently. So violently that the car pops out of gear and I had to put heavy duty screws in both of my gauge pods to keep them from popping out.

I think my 211k mile stock motor mounts could be adding to the situation. I've got some Nismos, just a bit too lazy to install them. I live in an apartment and its hard to get stuff installed. The management company is here till 5:00 and I cant work on my car during the day. Anyways, I'll shut up now

Jessie you were reminded to make sure your gauge pods were secure. MAKE SURE!

Your car seems pretty quick for just 8.7 psi. Would you mind sharing your setup with me? I plan on running that much boost, and I would love to get mid-low 13's. Do you have a dyno graph?

It's a currently 102,000 mile stock EVERYTHING KA. Never opened up the head, no change in anything:

T3/T4 57 trim .63 A/RJGS Tools ManifoldSpearco Bar and Plate 24.5 x 8 x 3 FMIC with 2.5 pipingEuroSport 3" DownPipeEuroSport 3" Test PipeA'PEXi N1 Dual cat-backTial 38 mm wastegate with .6 bar (8.7 psi) springGreddy BOV370cc SR injectorsA'PEXi SAFC IISPEC Stg 3 sprung hub clutchBase timing retarded 4 degrees The car weighs 2600 pounds with full interior. I don't have an accurate dyno graph due to me getting SCREWED the only time I went to a dyno. It made 220whp and 247torque, but it was far from tuned at that point.

Sorry for the threadjack!

For the record...duty cycle is only relative to stock fuel pressure give or take a few lbs. I know a TON of GTR's running WAAAYYYYY more power then is alotted for the cc of the injector.

Try cranking the pressure to 60psi and lowering the duty cycle in the lower rpm bands for more boost without the injector upgrade. Especially you Structure!!!!

yea i have thought about increasing the fuel pressure. with me using the safc that could make it a little harder to get the idle right. with increased pressure im sure i could have tunned it right with the 480's. i got a great deal on the 550's i have coming in so after i sell my 480's it will almost even out. rather than having to buy an aftermarket fpr or even an fmu, which i think would work better maybe in a 4:1 fmu

Let me know how tuning the 550's goes...I'm going to run 370's at 60psi for now. I decided against the FMU.

Yeah, I hate bandaid fixes...I've been so busy lately, I lacked the time to install my other fuel rail, which I need to make brackets for, tune any size injectors I use.

I had the same wheel hop situation on all season 215s. The shifter was going crazy, and it was very hard to hold on too. I ran a 13.96 a little more than a week ago at 7psi. My car was loving the cold weather that day.
