16g turbo set up

my friend has an evo 8 and he swaped out his stock turbo and said i could have his stock one. anyways, i only found one post saying it wouldn't fit because the manifold flange is different. if i were modify a manifold to fit the 16g, could i run this turbo? does anyone else know anything about the 16g? i have the 91 de motor.

you can fit turbo X onto manifold x as long as the flanges get matched and turbo X does not hit stuff like your shock towers and so on. So change the flange(s) and make it fit.
