anyone know if a 16g mitsu turbo fit a t25 sr flange? if so would it benefit much?

16g is a much larger turbo compaired to the t25, it will pull almost to 7krpm redline and come on very early, a great midrange turbo

from checking out the dsm sites it looks like it will, but then again, i don't have an sr, so i cannot tell you for sure.

I think it does since i know some guys which upgraded from a td04 13G to a T25. 13g's and 16g's have the same flanges so i expect that a 16g will bolt up to an sr no prob. Is it a TD04 or TD05?

Mitsu turbos traditionally have very odd, proprietary flanges. Same with IHI. I doubt it'll fit.

mitsu t25's have a circle 4 bolt flange on the turbine so I doubt it will bolt up to an SR manifold. If it did bolt up, it still wouldn't flow properly.

i imagine you might be able to find a dsm manifold, cut off the flange and find someone to weld it on for not a whole lot of money... just a thought.

oh yeah, TD05, though your buddies is probably a 14b turbo if it was STOCK off a 1g dsm. if it was an auto then it'll be the 13(b)? its been a long time, i cannot remember exactly
