I am sorry, this is probably a stupid post that has been answered somwhere else, i searched for a while but there is so many different posts i cant figure out what applies to my question :( sorry i am dumbanyway, back to my multipart newb question -firstly, do they even make these? i cant find any wheels with this measurment. If they dont make wheels in this measurment, could anyone suggest a lightweight, quality 17x10.5? dosent have to be like 15lbs or whatever, just not like maaco chrome bling bling 30 pounders. Also i am guessing that, aside from massive camber, the only way to make this fit would be substantial fender flares? and i guess also that i will need a decent sized spacer? and for the wheels to clear 300zx brakes and coilovers i would need to have a substantial offset? im sorry im stupid, please point me in the right direction, i tried to figure it out on my own but no luck :( sorry

The bigger question is why? Why do you feel you need a 10.5 inch wide wheel? Under only EXTREAME circumstances would you even be able to make use of that much traction, and even then, I hope for sure that you aren't trying to turn. If you are putting down enough power to warrent needing a 10.5 inch wide wheel, you wouldn't be here, asking this question. I'm sorry to be so harsh, but his is a rediculous question and a waste of bandwidth.

Perhaps he intends to use 10.5 wide in the back and 9 wide's in the front...then his turning wouldnt be that bad and I bet with good suspension he'd stick like glue through the turns. I can fully understand the desire for a 10.5 wide wheel...traction good!

I ask because i want to plan ahead. wheels like that would be extremly expensive for a good set, not to mention a good set of low profile tires. The next purchase on my list is a coilover setup, so i am trying to make sure there are no clearance issues. I am sorry that i dont know much about all the different measurments regarding wheels, but that is why i posted. If any more accomidating person would care to help answer my question(s), i would be much obliged.

you dont see me trashing on you for making posts like this one http://www.nissaninfiniticlub....=4122there are only 5000000 million threads on 300zx brakes and if they fit or not, but you dont see me trashing on you. I tried to be as humble as possible with my post, in fact i dont think i couldve been more.

did you use the offset calculator? THat would tell you the offset you'd need to run a 17x10.5 wheel(in the rear only, I'd hope). YOU would mess up your suspension geometry something horrible, and add both weight and a host of other problem to the vehicle doing something like that. Please tell me this is one of those "I wonder if...." questions, and not a serious consideration. If you want a really wide rear tire, go get a set of nice 18" 28-33mm offset 18x8.5 and run a 265-35-18 on the rear of the car, you MIGHT be able tog et away without fender flares, but I doubt it.

I would want to know WHY, seeing as how I am locking this now due to you not posting the required information, as outlined in the sticky(Use, money, reasons, etc)....

feel free to ask again when you include that information.
