anyone have an opinion on these 16" american racing rims for a 90Q. i realize these are not the best rims one can buy, but should they be trusted to handle the weight of the Q? really want to upgrade to 16", having a tough time finding reasonable rims. thanks jeffps-couldn't get the link, but i'm sure someone is familiar with american racing products

Interesting about these, Iv'e been watching this auction come on and off for 6 weeks or so, no one bids and no one has taken the buy it now offer. I also have tried to research the wheels, I finally called the seller after not being able to find any information anywhere on such a wheel. The guy said they are not American wheels they are EPIC wheels which I guess are a division of American. They also have no deep dish effect they are a flat face wheel whith just enough dish, maybe half an inch for weights, I got all this from the seller. He could not give me offset either, all this was too much unknown for me, especially the weight, Q45 tech and Fred and others have commented often on the Q needing a rather light wheel and I think one thing can be always said of wheels that appear to be too good a deal or that no one else is bidding on, they are too heavy or just not a good wheel. Good wheels are snapped up quick on Ebay.

AR and Epic wheels suck. They sell those wheels at Pepboys, Sears and other chain retail stores. They are very poor quality, heavy and not worth the money. I've seen some Epic rims where they hit a pothole...it doesn't bend...a HUGE chunk of the rim gets blown out because the rims are so brittle.

Here's a pic of another cheap rim manufacturer ADR (now also makes RS Limited)
