hey guys, i dont frequent this area very often but have a question about possible fitment of a wheel. I have a '90 S13 and have been looking around for some wheels. I found a set that fits my budget and looks good, but im scared of fitment issues.. the specs are 15x8 with 0 offset. I know the width should fit the wheel wells, but im not sure as to whether or not the offset is a major issue (im thinking it is) So im just asking you to tell me as it is.. is it worth it, or will they stick out WAY too far?

thanks in advance

o ya, its a dd

They will claer coilovers for sure, but youll have a tough time clearing stock fenders. Seacrh [whiterps13] in the Gallery, and you can see my wheels for reference. They are 17x8.5 +25, do the math. Also, my fenders are rolled -slightly-.

i know that they'll clear coilovers, but thats not an issue.. cause im just gonna be getting a spring & shock kit for suspension.. I just dont want them to stick out way far out of the fender well. I am open to rolling the fenders, but i dont want to get into buying fender flares, overfenders ect. Im interested to see what you guys have to say bout them too... In your opinion, would you rock 'em? (the size and offset i mean)

Me, no. Im not a fan of 15's, and would only rock 16's for the track. I like big wheels, 15x8's remind me too much of the slammed Escorts with gold Daytons running around my town. Also, you might want to check out some tire sizes. Id be hardpressed to believe youll have many options for that width in 15's. I was trying to get you to calculate the differance of width between my wheels and the ones you want with the offset calculator, so you can compare to my car. I guess I'll go do some research for you. Hold on tight for what Im about to find.

Ive been searching zilvia.net for hours, and im starting to get pissed off. I know there is a picture of an s13 with that size, I just cant find it. If your a member on zilvia, go search 15x8 and sift through the endless pages of crap, youll find it somewhere.

i know a few companies make 15" tires in 225, thats what youd run

15x8 +0 would be a little harder to make fit than all these people with 17x9 +20, it would definately need some roll and camber, probably a pull

ya thats what i was kinda afraid of.. i was hoping it wouldnt be hard to have 'em fit and they would look somewhat like axel grungy's 240 (small diameter, thick tire.. since its a dd and would give me better tire wear)

axel's were 15x7 +0, if you want a fit like that theres tons of wheels around, just have to find them

not much in the new area, but used theyre all over

so if his are 15x7 +0 and the ones i was talking about are 15x8 +0 if i just got the fenders rolled/pulled you think it would be possible to make 'em sit flush (or close enough)

im thinking yes... but im uneducated with this type of stuff
