Well I went ahead and installed some S15 480cc injectors in my SR with hopes of running more boost. We strapped the car on the dyno, dialed in the new fuel injectors, and turned the boost up to 17psi. As soon as the T28 spooled up, it suddenly cut off at 15psi. Messed around abit with the fuel, still hit cutoff at 15psi. Turned the boost down to 15psi on the dot, and cut off again when full boost was made. So to make a long story short, I was stuck dynoing out at 13psi, same boost I was running when I went in.

Any ideas on what the problem could be? I know the SR doesn't have a factory boost cut, so that's ruled out. I know the injectors are flowing enough fuel, no problems there. I already have a 300ZX MAF, not an issue.

Im experiencing the exact same problem as you on my CA motor, except the max boost I could go is 11psi then boost/fuel starting to cut out.

Im still in the progress of finding the problem, read this thread and see if we can help each other out:

MAF cut... when you peg it's voltage you will trigger a cut.

Guy with CA... you have a parameter that is still open on your PFC.

What do you mean by that? Am I missing something in the settings?

I have already set the rev limit to 7500 and max boost limit to 28psi on the PFC...

Please explain a little more detail, this problem has been driving me nuts.

If MAF voltage is at 3V, and you are getting fuel cut, then there is something either not set correctly in the PFC, or you have a gearbox signal error, which case you can disable that with the PFC.

How do you disable the gearbox signal error?? There is no function/selection in regards to this, at least not in my handheld commander...

But this does not explain why I do not get a cut-out under 11psi, only above that boost level.

Is there something wrong with the MAF? Should I buy a brand new one for god sake?

if the enigne was put in with all the origional parts then there is s boost cut solenoid thats mounted on the plate that the ignitor comes on. but if you have run direct vacuum line from its source directly to the wastegate than this is not the problem and is probably maf voltage. but I have dynoed over 18psi and over 275whp on a stock maf. but everysetup is different and this could very well be your problem
