$1500, shipped?

Does $1500 shipped sound good for a ca18det? If been searching around for quite awhile now. Jhot doesnt have any in at the moment, osaka jdm had some but they havent sent mea shipping quote yet, and i heard its kind of hit or miss with them. Also jarco doesnt have any listed on there site, but im going to give them a call tom. Any other good sites that i should look at, or should i just go for the one for $1500?

That sounds right. I usually see them go for 1100 to 1500 motor, trans, ecu everything but ignitor sometimes without MAF.

If you get it from Osaka I would plan on rebuilding it, also make any shop spell out what's included and that they'll replace it if missing/broken.

at this point I wouldnt hold my breath for anyone to send you an uncut wiring harness. Megasquirt is pretty much the best solution at this point as then you dont have to worry about harness or ECU and it is really inexpensive.

this is where I got mine..... had to build my own wiring harness, but engine was in amazing condition and the clutch was is still in superb running order.

that would be a good price if it is uncut with all of the additional things, like the igniter and the MAF and maybe the sidemount and tubing, I paid 1300 shipped and mine came with an uncut harness, radiator, all sidemount and tubing required for it, airbox, ecu and just about anything else you could want. when i bought it i thought i was getting a front cut but still i got a lot of stuff.... then again i got mine from ebay and i was half expecting the motor not to turn over. id say if it doesnt come with all of the accessories shoot for like 1100 shipped..... cant remember what company i got mine from but they were really good about fast shipping and everything..... just make sure to shop around and try to get one from a reputable company if you can.
