So a neighbor of mine has a 73 Datsun 510. Its a 4 door and has a set of 17 inch ugly enkei's...so the car is-flat black could use new primer/paint, rust has taken what looks like the whole passenger interior/hood/bottom half of quarter panels/possible frame damage. Original engine runs ok no sway bars cant go past 65mph. He said 1500....I told him 500 at most and he can keep his wheels. What is a decent price?

If he keeps the rims, i would say no higher than 700, but 500 sounds more reasonable. My buddy just picked one up for 250 with no rust but had some good sized dents in it. Nothing that wasn't fixable. I paid 1300 for mine, I think I stole if from the guy I bought it from!!

Look around there are some good buys in the Sacramento area.
