150,000 miles

well my 240 has reached 150k and ive decided its time to do some work. ive been kinda letting the routine maintenence slide a little lately and its time to get back in gear. well here are the things i plan on doing.

1. removing entire aiv unit, but i do have a few questions about it. i know about putting the 2 nickels in the exhaust but i was wondering about what to to with the egr assembly on the intake manifold???? can i remove that too and just put and thin piece of aluminum there? i thought about cutting in in the shape of the hold that will be left there and using the existing gasket and seal it.

2. i want to do the short intake modification.want to move the battery to the other side. also want to custom fab a piece of aluminum to block the engine heat as much as possible.3. power steering lines leaking. changing those.4. valve cover gasket and oil pan gasket. both are leaking. oil also changed at same time5. should i changed the rear end gear oil while im at it? i know it has never been changed.6. new plugs and wires are in, new transmission, new tie rods7. brake pads worn, also i believe the rotors either need turning or replacement.8. ac compressor is clicking like hell. not too worried about it since i dont use it.9. the car hesitates very much and i belive it to be a clogged or dirty cat. thinking about removing it or just replacing it.

well thats all i can think off. if anyone can give me anymore ideas please feel free to do so. i do know what im doing mechanically just need a little input. thanks guys.
