I'm looking at some 15" rims, American Racing Estrella.

I was going to do 16 or 17s, but my girlfriend has decided that buying new tires is dumb when I have brand new ones already, and quite frankly I can't say I blame her for thinking that way.

So I'm wondering if 15 x 7 rims will work with the stock continentals.

are the stock tires P185? if they are then i wouldnt try it.... it would be really stretched.... tires for 15's arent that expensive.... why are you going with 15's?

I was going to say just use the old wheels/tires for winter. But you don't have that.

So yeah, the stock is going to be too much of a stretch on a 7" wheel.

It's not like you're not gonna have to keep having to buy new tires throughout the car's life anyways so just go with 16 or 17. If you wanna use the stock tires, the wheel would have to be 15X6.5. 7" is too wide.

If that's how you and your girlfriend think about it, I'd say buying rims would also a dumb thing to do since we all know all cars already have rims...

Yeah, I guess I'll just have to forget the whole thing then. Maybe my window tint will be enough to make me happy. *sigh*
