Its not the diameter of the wheel that will cause you to rub, but rather the width aspect of them, they will stick out beyond the fender i believe, so under a "stress" hard turn/pothope they may hit.michaelthepsycho wrote:Too late, already ordered! Let's pray it doesn't rub. I don't see why though, the difference is only about 1.4 cm-ish. BTW your overall diameter for 255/40/19 is 27.0", whereas mine is 225/45/18 @ 26.0". Hence, your rubbing
I have to agree with dangeris, would look better on a mustang, but to each his own.dangeris wrote:XXR 512 might look weird on the coupe. That style rim would look better suited for say a Mustang or a muscle car of the 70's. What finish are you going with? black or silver?
To answer your question, yeah,...you'll def. rub
oh yeah! thats the spirit!michaelthepsycho wrote:Too late, already ordered! Let's pray it doesn't rub. I don't see why though, the difference is only about 1.4 cm-ish. My 20s I went with XXR 006 with blue lip but I think I want some contrast, so I went with red instead of blue. I'll take pictures of the blue and new ones if I ever get the chance.

Yes but imagine having 24" overall diameter. You will NEVER rub regardless of how far it sticks out and how much load you put on it because the fender will simply not touch the tires (just a scenario).LongBeachCoupe wrote:
