Since there has been alot of posts about tuning and MAFs and what not. I decided to show you all this product that has come accross a couple of my forums a few times and I am purchasing one as well.

as many know when tuning there are two parts, an AFC and a wideband o2. AFCs are used to make the small adjustments and WBo2s give read outs so you know how to tune the AFCs. Now AFCs can be had for cheap these days and since the maxima's don't have the most reprogram friendly ECU's in the world, we need to use AFCs for the crowd with all the bolt-ons.

WBo2s on the other hand can be in the range of 300 to 500 which is a bit out of reach for some of us. So I present to you 14point7 JAW

As a final note to some not familar with this tuning. Even with the WBo2s they can still be inaccurate even when buying the top of line which could run the cost of 400-500 wingwangs. so at the cost of 75 it is definetly worth it even if it may be slightly off, the key is to have a decent tune as not to destroy an engine. I currently have done a rough tune by feel, and I know I'm running rich a tad because of the smell.

I suggest this thread also be a thread for suggestions about how to tune and what works best. Basically a general tuning thread specifically for the maxima's

I would think the thing to do in this instance would be to get a base line dyno that also monitors the A/F ratios before we start throwing out suggestions.
