hey u guys...i got a buddy who is stuck on using the 14b on his 24de motor.....so i need some input on those who have this on there de motor and whats performance like...u know i need some specs...like how much boost and how much hp from that amount of boost....does it feel like the powerband falls on its face after a certain rpm?

A couple guys on ka-t.org have done it with KA24E's and DE's.

The DSM guys are squeazing out 260-270whp from them @ around 18psi. They are pretty decent for a stock turbo. Only issue is finding a manifold with the mitsu flange on it and having a custom turbine extension/O2 housing for it. Another thing to consider, these turbos are OLD. And most were beaten pretty badly.

ive heard of a high 12, a 12.9 to be exact . that would be at least close to 300 whp. that was on 13psi with dsm 450cc injectors if i am not mistaken. dont 14bs have that whacky sideways flange too, that could cause issues. ka will always make more power than a 4g63 per lb. of boost due to higher compression and displacement. overall it should run decent on 12psi.
