it better be over 155psi! 155 is not too good of a condition for 300hp...i have 175psi

Was the engine warm? Did you disconnect the injectors? Pull all the spark plugs?

you do not need to unplug your injectors to properly do a compression test.

while the car is running pull the fuel pump fuse, it will stall, this runs out the fuel pressure in the line and when you crank it again to test the cylinders it dosent inject fuel (raising compression #'s).

you really should have a charger hooked up to the battery on 50amp or start to keep your starter turning at the best speed possible. but if your battery is good good then you shouldnt have a problem. crank that thing until the cylinder pressure stops increasing, then purge the air and move on to the next cylinder.

you can add 1\2 cap of motor oil to the cylinder and redo the test and compare the results to measure how much air is passing by the valve seats, or rings. from a vocational book i have here, genrally speaking, more then 10psi increase with a wet (oil) test means that air is seeping past the rings. anything less usually the valve seats are to blame.

Pull the coil wire too. I count to five one thousand. Or just crank it over for five seconds.

i have 203k on my DE right now and before it blew up i had compression between 170-175psi on all 4 cylinders

I was still planning on turboing it with that many miles because to the compression results were still good

I dont think its too much. My motor had 128k on it and ran absolutely perfect. It was still very strong, but I went ahead and put a 40k motor in mine bc it was available. Good luck and keep us posted on the progress.

even numbers across are very good. 155 is a little low thought to me.

have the engine warm and throttle fully open

just finished turboing and i have 142K. Compression was 180 across the board and is still 180 across the board since last time i checked. I think ur compression is really the determining factor, not the mileage..........

(this is if everything else is in working order)
