I should have about 1400 bucks to mod my car in the next month or so. My plan is an intake, some sort of exhaust, a tune, and maybe some sway bars if I have anything left over.

So my questions are:

1: Who makes a good exhaust for a 10 sedan? Everything seems to be made for the coupe.
2: Would I get the same benefits by just going with a HFC instead of a full exhaust? (minus the sound of course)
3: Would a HFC give me a more pronounced exhaust note over stock? Would it sound good? I like stock coupe exhaust notes but my car is way to quiet.

Thanks for any help guys.

I was going to get this exhaust (link below)...but decided I didn't want to do any more mods. As for the intake, I highly recommend R2C. I put it on mine and love it!

I'll be selling my G in the next few months...if I trade it in or the buyer doesn't want the intake, I'll be selling it. Paid just over $400...probably sell for $200.

Invidia makes a good exhaust for the sedan as long as it is not AWD.
R2C is the best intake option IMHO.
I would also recommend a tune with those mods.
High Flow cats is also an option with the exhaust.

I had already pretty much decided to buy through you. From my experience in the Subaru community, the vendors on the boards are good to go. Does the Invidia drone at highway cruising speeds? I was looking for a sedan exhaust but only found coupes on your site.

How are Infintis tuned? Can you just tune the stock ECU or do you need a piggyback computer like a Cobb?

UPRev is what the majority use to tune. The specific Invidia exhaust I was referring to was the Q300, they aren't listed on the site. I have heard some say there is droning at very low RPM's such as 1500-2000. With the nature of an after-market exhaust, I begin to wonder if its just inevitable. I haven't personally heard the Q300, but have heard the Gemini on a Matt's (audtatious) coupe and it sounds great, even with HFC's. I would say some googling is in the future for you to listen to some exhaust clips, but even then sometimes that does no justice. I also can get the ARK Grip True Dual exhaust as well, but yet again haven't heard the exhaust personally.

I like both of Invidias exhausts from listening to them. I also really like the Stillen exhaust. I understand that some drone is gonna happen, but as long as it isnt loud and annoying Im fine with that. My first exhaust on my WRX was a Blitz Nur-Spec and the drone from that thing was just crazy. What are your prices on the Invidias? We can talk in PM if you want.

I have the Invidia Gemini exhaust with Invidia HFC's and it is noticeable on the highway. It's relatively quiet until you put gas to it.....I drive 85%+ highway (140-200 mile each way) and it does not bother me.
