Hello all

Just purchased a 2014 Altima SV and my wife has owned a 2013 SV for 1.5 years. The car is great and quieter than the '13 Camry SE I traded in, however I do hear some faint road/tire noise... primarily from the rear,... my wife's Altima has no such noise.

My 2014 SV has 11 miles on it and not sure how long it's been sitting on the lot. I'm wondering if anyone notices any faint tire/road noise when they first got their car and if it improved/quieted over time?

I don't recall if my wife's car had any noises when brand new as I didn't drive it much in the beginning.

I'm still very happy with the car... just curious if anyone notices any breaking in from a brand new Altima in that regard.

Thanks all.

Might help to mention what tires it came with! Also is it a 3.5 or 2.5, and what rim size?

It's a sv 2.5 with 17" contis.... Same as my wife's 13 sv

I have 600 miles in the car now.... No change in noise that I can tell..... I'm going to try 3m rubber proofing in the wheel wells and maybe mass loaded vinyl / closed cell foam inside the cabin next
