cant say. depends on your driving. if you drive where you have to take a lot of highway off-ramps, resulting in loooooong braking / or quick HARD bursts of braking = expect warped rotors quickly. thats a lot different than someone who does stop & go city-style driving, where the rotors dont build up a lot of heat, due to slow speeds; which result in worn pads, but good rotors. its too complex to give you an answer i can stand by.
in my experience with this car, this as a general rule of thumb (for those who dont drive hard)
OEM pads: 25-50k
OEM rotors: 15-30k
OEM calipers: 30-50k
personally me:
ALL of the calipers were replaced under 60k. thats just disgusting if you ask me.
and since i replaced all the calipers, i a;sp replaced the pads & rotors. no reason to do the same job 3 times(once for pads, then once for rotors, and then once again for calipers.)
the OEM equipment is PURE JUNK. its designed to be very lite-weight, which saves weight (which results in better fuel economy; which by the way President Obama and his tree-hugging crew mandated. Current rules for the Corporate Average Fuel Economy, or CAFE, program mandate an average of about 29 miles per gallon, with gradual increases to 35.5 m.p.g. by 2016.) thats what happens when uneducated individuals force their agenda upon the people. what tree-huggers dont understand is that current engines are about as efficient as they will ever get. but do the tree-huggers care? no! they demand their way, or no way. so after obama signed the bill into law = car makers scrambled and realized the only way to get the MPG's up, is to reduce the vehicle weight. and how do you do that? REDUCE THE SIZE(thus reducing the life-span) ON HEAVY ITEMS! ALSO BY REDUCING THE WEIGHT OF CERTAIN KEY-ITEMS, THEY REDUCED THE SAFETY OF VEHICLES.(because they didnt replace the heavier metals, with stronger more expensive materials.... they simply reduced the thickness of certain metals.) by the way: this isnt just nissan, its all makes/models. they all are stressing to increase MPG's or face the fines.
...dont even get me started. lol
