Hi,

I want to install a direct wire for Valentine 1. How do I remove the center console? I attempted to pry it, but it did not feel as if it was going to be released that way.

Also, once I remove the console, what color wires do I connect the V1 to?

Hard to say. This revamped model has only been on the market for about 4 months. You're probably the first person to attempt anything like this.

IP-18 shows the removal of center console.

The easiest way is to get power from a 12 Volt accessory outlet.

Thanks for a quick reply. That manual may help, but I am referring to the overhead console, one that has the map lights and the sunroof switch. I need to remove that to access the wires there to create a direct connection for the RD.

No problem iRogue,

This forum is an amazing place to find answers to your questions about your Rogue.

These Factory Service Manuals are very useful. I used them to "educate" Nissan techs at the dealer for many times. I am sure they hate me, but they had no idea about many strict procedures that are described in this document in detail.

On the old model, when you flip down the drivers sun visor there is a wiring access panel in the headliner. Is it no longer there in the redesigned model?
