damn rotary motors. Other than the 13bt most of them are weak sauce. The exhaust note is highly annoying, IMO. I guess im just tired of all my 2nd gen rx friends saying "rotary this and rotary that"... a 1.3 liter that chugalugs the gasoline. Anyone else have friends like this?

sry I didnt think of using the search at the time... 1st period was almost over and I had been lookin all over :p

Yes, I do have a friend with a 3rd gen rx7, and it does get pretty damn annoying hearing rotary everything... and anything but rx7 is gay.... I'm planning on just doin a sr20det swap.. thanks for the info.

yeah i have a friend with an FD rx-7, i think he may be a member on this fourm too, but those rotarians are hardcore about thier motors. hell i would be too if they didn't like to go boom all the time. and im pretty sure they are 1.3 liters, but for arguments sake we'll just say they are 70 cubic inches.:)

If you prefer convention over logic then it's a 1.3 liter. Mazda measures the displacement of rotaries using a 2 stroke scale. Even though the rotary engine has separate I/C/P/E strokes.

If you use logic and measure it using the 4 stroke scale, like every other auto engine, then the 13B is a 2.6 liter and the 20B is a 3.9 liter.

Dave Coleman said so.
