130 aftermarket antenna? 1996 Any satisfied or unsatisfied customers?

Previous owner snapped off the antenna and I would like to replace it. The motor still works just fine. I see them online for $13ish and Pep Boys claimed to have a match for $19. Is it worth my time? Will it retract all the way into the car or just part way? (p.s. I did search! I have seen great threads on "how to" but not "what with." Thanks!)

I changed my antenna recently (I also posted here about that) on my 98 Max. Used replacement mast from pep boys (C-PWRNI663) for $19.99. Worked great. And yes, it goes in all the way - just the way it should. Very happy.
