hihere is my 13$ tie rod special setup.http://splparts.com/Parts/S14/...k.aspthrid from the bottom on that pagetie rod spacer 10$, or you could go to home depot and find something maybe bigger but much bigger and you wont be able to thread a safe amount on the rack when you re install the tie rod.

and then this for 3$http://www.courtesyparts.com/M...3103Gnote those are for s14 but i think itll work its a pretty easy thing.if yours are in really bad shape maybe throw some grease inside the boot before you reinstall.

install is super easyloosten wheelsjack up carremove wheelsundo cotter pin on tie rod end bolt, then undo bolthit the top of the tie rod with a bfh hard and itll drop down.then remove tie rod boot clips from both sides of the boot and slide it down, i didnt even fully remove minethen for the locking plate i found if you head it dead on with a hammer/flat head itll just scoot back and you dont need to undo each side. then after tie rod is off remove that and throw it away. it isnt used with the spacer setup.then with a monkey wrench undo the big bolt on the rack. itll be hard. when your at the tie rod looking towards the rack (sitting where hte wheel would be) on the drivers side turn counter clokcwise for reference.then remove the while tie rod (i just did it in one peice since it was easy and should make my alignment better off after then if i removed the inner and out. then remove the old bushing of the outer (youll need to hack it up) then slap the new bushing on and the spacer on the inner, put some locktight on the inner thread because of the loicking plate isnt being reinstalled. then reinstall everything. be patient with the drivers side tie rod itll go on, and i just used zip ties to hold the boot to the rack.

tools needed19mm for tie rod end bolt to humpliers make remove cotter pins/boot things easymonkey wrenchwheel lug nut socket whatever size yours is or tire ironhammer. dont be afraid to use it!zip tiesspacer and bushing thing.

little tip i found is leave the key in the igntion but have the car off, like no power, that way the wheel wont lock when you need to turn the wheel so you can have a better angle on it all.also if your boots are all leaking and cracked its recomended that you replace them.
