So I'm noticing that the passenger front shock seems to be a bit wore out more than the others. The car rides firm enough for me and the ride hight is fine too so I'm not looking to do a coil over set up.

I would like to know some AFFORDABLE options.

I saw Monroe, Bilstein (very affordable) and other higher end coil over sets that are too much.

If any of you have any info for me if really appreciate it.

Thanks
Andy

Your best bet is something like KYB/Monroe/Bilstein/local autoparts special that fits our car. OEM is probably too expensive but you can use a site like infinitipartsusa.com to find the price and part number.

If i were in your shoes I would just look for an aftermarket replacement like Scale or even BC Racing. Yes it sucks to replace all 4 but at least you'll have the option to adjust the ride height in the future.

I can't speak for BC Racing, but with my Scale coilovers the car's ride feels just as soft as the OEM suspension.

I've looked online and haven't found any replacement struts for our cars. Do you know that bilstein makes some or you think we could get something from a store? Just weird that there is nothing on the web. My ideal setup would eibachs with koni's but i don't see a koni application for our car.

I'm curious how many miles your M shows. Mine is a 2009 and I just had it checked at the dealer as I am planning a sizeable trek soon. They told me that the suspension, steering, etc are in fine condition. Seems 3 years is a bit early for these things to fail.

I'm close to 90k, what brought it to my attention was bottoming out on bumps at work and very poor cornering mostly right handed.

I think the previous owner maybe hit something. The car is in excellent condition but my G37 never did that.

Op, confirm those will work with the V8. The V8 is heavier so I would imagine has a different spring rate. Might be the same but worth double checking.

Also, ssmrico, if you're truly selling those, make an FS thread and link it.

I picked up a set of BC R's with the swift upgrade, can't wait to put them on. A firmer ride won't be so bad plus lowering it should be nice to be able to do.

Andy

Thanks for the replies

You can do here, I'll move it and leave a shadow topic here which will link to classifieds.
