13 Chasis

Im now looking for a s13 to start my sr project/swap. Any good advice , or anything i should look out for, because im gonna be looking for one taht isnt runninig or has a messed up engin, but the chasis has to be in good condition. Im asking this question becasue i know this guy who was getting a sr swap but his machanic look at the car and told him his chasis wasnt in good enough condition for the swap, something about it be rusted up or something. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ideal youd have a 'straight' chassis, no accidents or bang ups, and no rust

thanks for the info, but like how would i be able to tell, cause some people are *** and dont like to tell the truth. Is there anything that i should look for visually that would tell me to stay away from that car . Oh and one more thing, is there anyway for me to tell if the car has a vlsd, without jacking up the car and spining the tire.

get under the car and look around...if you don't know what your doing....take it to a mechanic have that person look at it before buying...you might want to take it to a body shop....body men will be able to tell ya if its been hit....but thats if the seller will let you do that

and also, as far as chekcing for a lsd, check under the car, near the rear of course, should be an orange sticker thing on it if it has one, everyone ive seen with it, has it
