so i finally got this beast to the track. i pulled 3 pass and the times were 14 flat @ 10psi, 13.4 @10psi, 13.8 @ 9psi. The first pull was my very first time launching the car. i had never launced it before. i had a crappy 60ft time and i bogged. the second pull was my best, and for my third pull i was going to raise the boost but i turned my boostcontroller the wrong direction so i was only pushing 9 psi, i also had a crappy 60ft time on the pull. basic set up: T3/T4 turbo, Tial Wastegate *open dump* 450cc injectors, turboXS RFL bov, FMIC, MR 3" Catback, Custom mani & downpipe, Safc2, Q45 Maf

i also had a full interior with a sub and some tools inside the car, crappy *** stock goodyear tires, 2 1/2 crush bent downpipe, and a cat. Theres definatly room for improvement

Just out of curiosity, who/what ran the 12 second on that slip?

Nice run on your part too. I would be f'in ecstatic if I ran a time like that. Always good to see a sohc throwing down.

very loud I can vouche for that

exhaust wise I have pretty much the same setup, 38mm tial WG open vented and as soon as it starts to open it sounds like a train trying to slow down, you don't hear anything other than a VERY loud "Phsssssssssssssssssssh"

I need to fabricate a dump tube for mine though... makes it VERY hot in the engine bay so I'm fighting myself to keep out of boost (that and for gas mileage)

We didnt have a digital video camera, either way you wouldnt hear my car cuz the when we watched the vid all you can hear is the muscle car and you hear a pssh once in a while.

Damn, that was a good 2 hour drive. LOL

If you went to LACR, your times would have been higher.

Not trying to hijack your thread or anything but whats the deal with the q45 maf. I know the z32 maf can be used but I have seen anyone talking about the q45 maf. Is there any advantage to using it versus the stock maf? Thanks for your help and by the way, nice track times I hope your able to go back soon and school that nova.
