Maybe a little more info about your car or even what you have?

Uhh.... right what kind of fans are these and what kind of controller setup do you have??...

Anyways... as for your question of a 12v ignition source... their is the fuel pump fuse and relay. That's what I used for a while but that will cause dieseling of the engine because the fan spinning to a stop when the engine is shut off will backfeed electricity into the fuel pump and supply fuel to the engine and it'll keep running due to heat generated spontaneous combustion in a hot engine.... It's not a big deal but a slight annoyance.

Important to note that my e-fan set up at the time was just the stock a/c fan wired directly to the fuel pump fuse. Only difference now is that I have it wired to the reverse lamp fuse under the dash to remove the deiseling issue. It's always on when the key is on and even just that little a/c fan keeps my car cooler than necessary and it never fails. I've run it like this for 4 years now.
