12PSI SR-T25G... Should i raise my fuel pressure and remap my ecu?

I read somewhere that if i double my base fuel pressure or somewhere around there it will be as if i installed 444cc injectors. Right now I'm running a Top Fuel socketed ecu that was tuned for up to 15psi on the stocker. Right now i'm running an sr-t25g at about 12psi. I popped the chip out when i first got it and updated the VQ Maps and the K value for my bigger N60 MAF. Now im just wondering if it would be a good idea to up the Fuel Pressure and retune my ecu for 444cc injectors? I have a walbro 255lph and an adjustable FPR along with an eprom burner so this can all be done without issue. What effect will this have on the reliability of the injectors. Also is it somewhat dangerous to do this without a wideband to monitor things?

You'll probably kill any injector quickly if you double the pressure it's rated at. Why not get some 450cc DSMs?

the increase in flow vs the extra strain imparted by the increase in pressure quickly generates decreasing returns. A little bit over stock sure but double, no get propererly sized injectors.

I was running an S14 turbo at 11psi on the stock injectors and a T04E at 7psi on those same injectors. You should be okay for the moment. Remember, the SR20 that turbo came off of had the same size injectors as the CA18. You really should invest in good instrumentation if you are tuning your own engine. The pistons you save may be your own.

Good point. I already have a narrow band o2 coming as you already know from my other thread. But besides that what should i go for. I was thinking of getting that JAW wideband kit. seems decent for $85 + the cost of the sensor. I also have boost, oil pres., and fuel pres. gauges. What else should i get?

I am not familiar with the unit you are talking about. I am using an LM-1. you have a good basic set of instrumetation there, I think you should be ok.

ya now i have:Boost Oil pres.Fuel Pres.Narrow o2

That way i can keep an eye on things. I'm in the market for a wideband very soon. Here is the one im talking about. Some guy on here is offering to build the kits for free or something.
