I have a direct port nitrous on my 91 240sx right now. I was going to run a 125 shot. I have MSD 6A ignition, 2 step colder plugs, walbro fuel pump and a Jacobs nitrous mastermind. Do you think I am safe to run with this set-up?

I've heard that stock, the KA won't take more than a 75 shot.

hey i say go ahead and buy an extra motor and go for for it. maybe even crank it up a little more. and then let us all know how much nitrous the ka can withstand. not the most cost efficient or smartest thing but it would be a hell of a ride. but seriously if u don't have an extra motor then u might want to hang out around 75 for now.

Aries ran a 200 shot on his old KA24DE before it blew it up.

Plus its been said a KA motor in good condition with a stock fuel system in good condition will handle 100 shot easily. Id still upgrade the fuel pump to a walbro 255 and run colder plugs just incase.

I plan to run a 100 shot on my ka-e with just a fuel pump and colder plugs soon. I dont think the engine is going to last much longer, plus i have a spare motor in better condition just incase ;)

Thats a wet direct port nitrous system correct? If so what jets and fuel pressure to the fuel side of the nozzles?

try more gas...I ran a 500 shot on it on several occasions. Most common was alittle 300 dry.

125 dirrect port with a Mastermind and a fuel pump will be fine. Just make sure you monitor it for detonation/knock. If you get either, back off timing 2-4 degrees and try again.

I ran 60 shot and was fine but from what everyone elses said I wouldnt push past 75. If your going to do a rebuild then more power to ya. I have a spare you can buy when you need a rebuild block.:pface

I think the stock internals can handle it. As long as i have enough fuel and spark, I should pull it off.

I was running a 100 shot on stock internals. I had a spare motor but it became a rebuild project for a turbo kit. You should pull off a 125 shot easily as long as you watch the fuel and ignition timing.

timing is so overlooked. thats what blows motors. if EVERYTHING is tuned 100% perfect, you'd be appaled at how much power cast iron engines can make.
