sunbelt does top notch work, and yes that price does reflect it. What are you building your engine to do? if your even considering this portwork i would imagine you have a fully upgraded valvetrain/head, and a short block to match.

I personally think 1200 could be used more efficiently

toooooo much. unless youre going to be on the cutting edge where every little bit matters, I dont think I can really see $1200 worth it for some simple porting... damn.. maybe if that included an entire head job with valves, studs, cams, etc, etc, etc....

I'm not even doing head work at all, and I'm still gonna get power that will make me crap my pants.

if anyone knows what to do with a cylinder head, it's sunbelt performance. but unless you're going all out balls to the wall with your engine, i'd spend that $1200 someplace else.

I have Pauter rods Ross Pistons i got my crank back from L.A. yesterday (knifed & lightened). Im planing on a garrett t67 and im looking for 550+RWHP and hopefully low 10's / high 9's. I just dont know if I need this port work for the 550. Im thinking I should just bite the bullet and kick my completion date back some. I dunno.

If you're looking for high hp numbers like that, porting would probably be worth it.

does that come with free lifetime blowjobs or something?thats awfully high for porting... you might want to shop around a bit. I agree that porting might benefit your application, and sunbelt would be the best place to have it done, but for that price you could do so much more... and still have it ported by another shop.

For that price you should buy a junk head and send it to ENDYN. http://www.theoldone.com I would love to see what TOO would do to a KA head.
