Im serious. The insurance adjuster came and cut me a check for $1201.53, and i sure as hell am not gonna need all that money to fix the front end... Im guessing 400 to bend back the small frame thats bent.

should i get the silvia front, or get a reg. 240 front and put the money into other things, mods, or what. I really dont know.

is it my car? no. is it your car? yes. do whatever the hell you want.. in all honesty, build your car for you. but, think what your car needs the most (ie. performance, looks, stereo, interior etc.) and go have a fun shopping spree.

yeah white, damn... go get a massage or something...

hmm with 1200... Id have to know what youve already done to your car though.... I'd consider first fixing anything else thats wrong and then maybe some shocks/springs and brakes...?

I would personally keep the 240 front end and do some performance upgrades. And money laying around for future repairs is never a bad idea either.

been thinking about a head job, p+p, maybe headers with the silvia front and triple projectors. I got ka24de, but i'd like an SR (dont most of us). I dunno, just wanna have fun, but feel the pressure to go fast. looks vs. power, a liitle of both, please.

"most". consider yourself in the "other" category. Its not a bad place to be though. I like both engines. And i would have more like $600 left over after the price of the stock fenders, light, bumper, and hood. Maybe less.

How much are his cams? I could get ss headers cheap...

Oh, i got a fidanza flywheel, act clutch, some kinda short shifter, intake and stock exhaust (whoops).

It depends on how aggressive you want your cam upgrade to be. A popular upgrade is the S13 cams in the S14 engine. The S13 cams are 240/248, whereas the S14 cams are 232/232. Im doing this upgrade. I already have the cams. Im just waiting to install them along with my hotshot headers in a couple weeks. The JWT cams are much more aggressive. I dont know the specs but id assume they are much higher.Im not sure about PDM-Racing cams.

I got my cams for $75 with free shipping.JWT run for 550 i think.

Man, those silvia front end are so played out. To me they're worth like $500 at most. I don't know, I guess it's cool if you're the only one with a silvia conversion in your area, but there's a bunch of them here in the SF bay area. I remember when I first saw a silvia conversion on the road. It was a white s13 coupe. That car was so clean I was blown away!! I never get the same feeling after that though, because I've seen it so many times and know too many people that have it.

sorry guys, i didnt mean to make my post sound hostile at all. i was just saying that you should build your car the way you want it. first off, i would go get a tune up by a good performance shop. you gotta make sure your engine is even running right before you start goin balls out on bolt ons. then, i would definately get a spring/shock combo or coilovers, and work on suspension. in my opnion the best way to build a car is:a.suspensionb.brakesc.powerd.exteriorand in the middle do what you want to make it more enjoyable on the inside. after all, you spend more time driving your car than looking at it. again, sorry if my post sounded angry, it was not intended that way at all.

yeah well basic tune ups are all shes getting from me now. I have an early 93 engine, and i have the 240/248 camset already, but in the original s13 engine. Im not gonna get a s14 engine to put them in, and there are absolutely no s13 silvia conversions here. Everyone has s14 with s15 front.

I saw a r32 kit on jarcoinc.com and wondered if that bolts to the s13's frame.
