120 MPH! ECU sucks!

I live in FL so when ever i get on 95 i floor it the car picks up great on 5th gear and i reach 120 MPH easily but what sucks is that once it reaches it the ECU cuts off fuel to the engine (or thats what it feels like) Basically it doesn't let me go past 120 and the car can do more i could feel it. what can i do to the ECU?
