120 deg charge pipe in S13

Could someone please try to fit a 2.5" pipe on the front part of their motor to see if the 120 deg bend idea for a FMIC will fit under the hood of an S13?

Hybrid tried this on his S14, but it would not fit due to the slope of the hood.

Your talkin from the Throttle body right? I haven't tried yet but I did put a something in the way and tried to close the hood and it didn't want to close. I'm goin to raise the back end of the hood and see if that cooling mod will give it a little more clearnce.

Yeah... I'm talking about from the throttle body. What mounts are you using?

Yeah, me too.... Hybrid's works well without any obvious lag, but the lag may show up once we go with larger turbos. I just bought a VG30 turbo off of a Z31, so we will see...

Have you seen the one that makes a 180 right at the Throttle body and brings the pipe pass over the valve cover? Or is that the same one hybrid sells?

thats the one he is talking about. I would like to try it, but i don't have the room under my hood, and i'm NOT cutting up the bracing on a carbon fiber hood. It looks sweet though.

Yeah, it's a 120 deg bend that goes over the valve covers... it is suppose to be the best design for flow and length in a FMIC setup.
