...Spark Plugs! Nissan Inc. put a set of spark plugs in my Q45. I don't think they have ever been replaced! I'm replacing them at this time. Holy crap.

Wow... I am pretty sure they've never been replaced on my Green Q either. I'm doing them in about a week when I start all the rest of the under plenum stuff.

So far so good, no breakage. They look like they might actually have been replaced, the threads were lubricated... But they are old *** plugs none the less. I have already cut myself changing her plugs. My blood is in this car.

I've had the car for about 8 months, she's been doing great, I just replaced the fuel pump. Next weekend I'm going to start doing all the good stuff.

NGK G-power, until I can get some Iridium IX. I don't have 90 dollars to spend quite so fast, lawl.

I broke one of the plugs, so I have to go get another tomorrow, just one cylinder left; CYLINDER 8.

I empathize with you! I changed the plugs on my 92 Q a year, or so ago, at about 120K (it had had earlier change by T3 in Atlanta, I believe, when guides, etc., done), and found the job one of the most frustrating of any DIY jobs on a lot of cars! NEVER AGAIN!

Our choice to drive these old beasts was confirmed again today, when I picked up wife's M 30 from dealer, after paying near $1,900 repair bill! Almost all of the work was elective, but needed doing! And, things I really did not feel comfortable in tackling. Worst thing was that I had just checed Edmunds on the vehicle's value and it came in $200 LESS than this repair job! Yikes! Oh well, wife loves the car and it still gets lots of appreciative comments!

I just hope she's firing on all cylinders, I hope all the plugs are in right and the packs are contacting. Any ways I might know if a cylinder is not firing?

The correct NGK PFRG usually can be bought for under $65 on the web if not from Joe.

They were designed for the car, and anyone who thinks another plug will work as well hasn't read the nucmerous posts on this subject.
