12 Volt Accessory Plug Install

In my opinion the 12 volt accessory plug that comes factory in the 2011 Nissan Versa is not in a very user friendly place (over next to the emergency brake) so I got me a 12 volt outlet to install where I want it. Anyway I want to install it on the plastic panel piece below the a/c and heat controls. How do I get the plastic piece off What I plan to do is take a ¾” hole saw and saw out the hole for it in that panel and that way it’ll look like a factory installed plug.
