Hey guys/gals just have a quick question for you. For the last two years my cell phone charger has been plugged into my outlet in my center console and it has worked great. The other day I unplugged it and then plugged it back in and now it doesn't work. I checked to see if the charger itself worked and it works in the cig lighter. I am just wondering if there is a fuse somewhere that I can check for and is this a common problem. Any help would be great.

Tim

I assume the car is running since you've had it for 2 years...it has to be running in order for the center console to work. This is the first time I've heard of this. If its been plugged in straight for 2 years, you may have to jimmy it a little bit, move it arond, you know. Otherwise, there is a fuse. Where is the question. Anyone else?

Yep, the car is running. Just wondered if anyone knows where the fuse for the center console outlet is.

Let me check the service manual. I didn't have time last night. Check back soon.

Alright, I think I've found it. We have the factory service manuals so it takes a little digging. Here's the link for the service manuals http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/G3...Coupe/Thats for the 06 coupe, but I would imagine its the same. To get to 05, click on Parent Directory and choose 2005. Then you'll want to find the PG guide. In the 06 guide, you want to find page PG-66 and PG-76. 66 shows you where the fuse box is, 76 shows which fuse it is (its fuse 5 I believe).

I forgot to put that the fuse box you're looking for is on the driver's side under the steering column.

Wow!! Thanks a lot! That is awesome!! I will check it out sometime Saturday after I get out of work. I hope that it is just a simple fuse. Appreciate the help so far.

Do you drive the G in the winter in the UP? If you do, that is pretty crazy with all the snow that is up their. I have a hard enough time in northwest Indiana with the snow.

Take care

Tim

Nooo, I don't drive my G during the winter. Haha, that would be interesting if I did, it'd just be a snow plow up here. It gets stored from Thanksgiving until mid- to late-April. I'm glad someone else on this forum knows of the UP!
