ok, I saw the one about the 2 6x9's and wondered where I should place 2 12'' subs? The box I have is too big to fit against the seat between the wheelwells. So I have to make a new box, (or boxes) and I want to know the best place to put these, space, sound, and praticality wise. Budget wise too, I'm making these of wood, not anything else, so they'll be pretty square. thanks

Thanks anand.

Ok, first of all, what type of vehicle is this going in to?

What type of subs?

Have you thought about going to a single sub that can produce the same output as your current two?

I'm going to keep it with 2 speakers, but I want to put them into my 92 240sx fastback, so I hope that helps, I was thinking about putting them between the tailights and the wheel wells, But I'd have to make some boxes that would fit there, and that would be sorta hard, whats the easiest place to put 2 12's in a fastback?

I have a 90 fastback (no engine right now) and I built a box for it for 2-12's. It's airspace was around 2.5 cubic ft sealed with a center divider for ~ 1.25 cubic ft per sub. I don't have it anymore but it fit between the strut towers and below the hatch area cover so you couldn't see it w/ the hatch closed. I am thinking about 32 inches wide outside 14 inches tall and 10in deep. That with polyfill was about the right size. Also my box was square and the amp mounted to the back of the seat in the gap behind the rear firing sub-box. I hope this helped. I wish I had pictures to post...it was the nicest box I ever built. The girl who bought it still gets compliments on it.
