12 or 16 valve

How would I if my car is 12 or 16 valve. Please excuse me if I sound like and idiot but i really don't know much about engines.

Look at the FAQ at the top of this forum.

If you have a 89-90 you have a 12 valve SOHC KA24E

If you have a 91+ you have a 16 valve DOHC KA24DE
