i found some nice rims that have a +12 offset. i was wondering if that much of an offset would be decent on a s13. they are 17x9.5. the car is lowered by 1.5 inches with tein s-tech springs. i wouldnt mind going wide body, and need the width for touge and autocross.

if anyone has +12's on a s13, pics would be appreicated.thanks for the attention. -josh

They will poke out. I dont know how you feel about negative camber, but thats what will have to be done.

You should have posted this in the wheels, brakes, and suspension section also.

thats a little to much for my taste..have ya tryed them?..the balance may be thrown off to much for you to compensate for..i prefer the Zero offset..still widens the base without spacers and adds an agressive look to..if you do choose to go with it...go to racetrack "Parkinglot" and try manuvering your car a bit to get the feal for her again..try throwing the car from side to side and shifting the weight around..with in a safe setting..and allways.."Cough" use safty equipment
