Trying to get this 2012 M37x up to snuff, I can't seem to find a part number of the PCV valve. I'm not too familiar with the inifitiparts.com website and want to make sure I get the right thing. Alternatively, does anybody else have a link where to get one of these at an appropriate price (i.e. non-dealer markup)?

Part Number: 11810EY00A. Found HERE.

Looks like $15-20 is the going rate. is something wrong with the one on your car now?

Just get one from your local auto parts store. That's where I get mine. I change them every 15-20k.

Debonair, if you take yours out and rattle them...at 30kmi of age they likely won't rattle means it's clogged. The rattle from the new vs stock one was way different.

Thanks. I'm still learning how to find stuff specifically on that site. I suspect it was never changed or was changed many miles ago. Cheap insurance.

What brand/part number do you use from the LPS? My Ford 4.6L hated aftermarket PCV valves.

We used to do the shake test at Jiffy Lube (one of my MANY jobs before my current one). Most cars did not clog them very fast. 15-20K sound huh. Sounds like I need to check mine. :yesnod

Well, you also know that I'm overkill on my maintenance hah. I change oil at 5k that could go to 7500 easy lol. I'd say no more than 30k on the PCV valves...by then you should definitely hear it barely rattling inside. That's not to say your car will die if you don't change it, some cars likely have never had them changed...but it's like a $11 part and takes 20 minutes to change...so I do is as preventative maintenance. Peace of mind.

Armed, I just use the Purolator ones. It might even be the same ones...part number is PV1091 from Advance Auto.

Advance Auto doesn't have that model on their website anymore. No local parts stores carry them apparently....odd.

Looks like I'll be going with a Carquest brand (never heard of) as the only one available around here.

Carquest is fine too...almost all brands that such stores sell are OEM replacements.

You could probably also use Amazon too. I find myself using Amazon a LOT now because I get free Prime shipping on most items, etc.

Good call on Amazon. Now that I have the OEM part number, I found the Infiniti part PCV Valve for the same price as the aftermarket parts. <3 Prime

How many does one need? One or two?

As far as I can gather from the schematics and looking under the hood, there's one on each bank, so 2.
