best way??? ummm you could toss a different motor like a rb26 or a 2jz. i suppose you could tune one of those to get you into the 11s

Talking to Aries will make my 240 run 11s!!! Sweet, anyone have his number? If I make him a cake, will my car run 10s?

not bad, but at that size, it closely resembles an early 90's yamaha YZR. either bike is groovy!

Ok, First of all, you don't need to swap the engine or turbo it...get lots of stickers...LOTS OF THEM. APC, GTR, PEP BOYS, Made in Japan, postage stamps, whatever. Each one is about 17rwhp. USE A LOT. Then go to ebay and buy a $20 muffler the size of a Parthenon pillar. then take your air filter totally off. Get a boomin system and play 50cent over and over and over again. OH yeah, gauges...get about 20 of them, and make sure yoiu have a boost gauge. Even though you don't have a turbo, after you're making a jillion rwhp, you will have boost that will need gauging. Umm...that should be it. Guarantee you will be running 1.1secs in the 1/4. Trust me. :icesangel Aahh jeez...see what happens when you work customer service and can't use sarcasm during the day?

No no, you need a t66 bb turbo with nos, motec system exhaust, sell drugs, and rap with Ludicris. After that get the stickers, neon lights, and ps2.

Everyone in this forum that is smart knows its possible to build an 11 second 240 with an sr. I have a friend whose building a 240 straightup for dragging. Hes rebuilding an sr20 motor so his S14 can push over 700hp. I'm sure he'll run low tens if not nines. But you see, thats not the point. You just don't go in a forum and say "hey, how can i run 11s". Ninety percent or so of us don't even know how it feels to run 14s. On top of that, even if we did know the answer we still woudn't give it to you cause you seem like a ricer who justs wants to drive fast. If you knew anything bout a 240 you would know it wasn't made for dragging. It was made for DRIFTING.

A little testy tonight aren't we? LOL

11 sec 240?

You can make good power with an SR if you know what your doing or go for an in line 6, like the RB25,RB26, VG30,2JZ, or even an american V8. You figure $10,000.

The real problem is putting the power to the pavement. That is the key to good 1/4 mile times.

heavy duty drivetrain is key. nobody ever talks about beefing up the rest of the drivetrain. everybody waxes eloquent about engine this engine that, but rarely do we discuss beefing up the rest of the drivetrain. why is this?
