Yuuuck, thats over 48 degrees celcius. Its not even Summer up there yet is it? Whats the hottest you've ever had there?

I've only ever been to Arizona once, and it was dry, dusty and very, very flat, without any tree's. I must admit I really didnt like Phoenix (sorry to anyone here from Phoenix).

I have seen 126 on the overhead consol in the Hemi Ram I used to drive. It is going to be a hot summer for sure, maybe we all should have listened to Al Gore LOL

It snowed in phoenix in February 2007 LOL.

I'm a native so I don't really mind the heat. I don't know how anyone else does it though. Sometimes I get in the car a drive for a minute or 2 without turning on the AC just to enjoy the heat LOL

We have trees in Arizona.... just up north.

In Phoenix we only have what you plant on purpose. Growing in my backyard right now I have, Apples, Raseberries, Boysenberries, grapes, passion fruit, palmogranite and sugarcane. I just brough an avacado tree I started from a pit inside because it was dying from the heat though.

I envy that kind of heat. We had a nice weekend, it was in the 80's. Now it's 60 and raining again.

Darn Jeff. That's hot. It was about 92 here, but dry. 119 is hot.

I like the pictures of the yard, and the crabgrass along the sidewalk. Fire the yard boy.

Actually, there's only about a month where its humid enough to sweat... The rest of the time it's so dry, you don't notice it (evaporates instantly).

I was mowing the yard when it hit 122 (highest recorded temp in Phoenix).

We don't have rust - So all you haters, eat that.

We hit 104 on Sat and Sun.

I had 2 employees with heat exhaustion despite handing out over 110 water bottles over the weekend.

Hit 94° in TX yesterday. I could have sworn it was so much higher ( felt like 110°). This summer is going to suck. Any idea on how high gas prices are going to be?

people in georgia cant wash their G's because you guys in AZ insist in making the desert, the midwest. that being said, i freaking love AZ. Christmas in Scottsdale is my idea of perfect.

oh, ive definately felt that. in three weeks, im heading to syria for the summer. a couple of times its hit over 50 and the city shuts down to prevent heat stroke deaths. naturally, those are the days im completely oblivious and get stuck outside. REAL FUN.

My sprinkler system comes on 4 times a week for 30 min at 10:30 PM. It doesn't take very much water to keep my stuff green.

Actually its Zoysia, 10x more invasive then Bermuda. Impossible to kill, resistant to drought, heat, poison. Very slow growth. I thought it would be an easy lawn when I landscaped my back yard but I was wrong. It grows very slowly and is impossible to kill when it decides to grow somewhere you don't want it like say around the apple tree. LOL
