Hi,

I want to source most of the parts myself for 110k service and I don't have FSM, so can somebody please provide me with information on what to service on the engine and auto transmission. Underbody, suspension and exhaust are intact, but the engine/transmission could be a bit smoother.

Things that are changed in the last 3k miles are:

All fluids, spark plugs, fuel filter, front o2 sensor, all belts, front crank seal.

Feel free to share not only FSM recommendations but viable recommendations on engine and auto transmission tune-up.

Oh, oil changed every 3k miles at dealership. They use Castrol GTX 5w30. Shall I switch to Mobil or Redline ?

Thank you.

Also is it worth cleaning the MAF ?

Dealership told me that auto transmission coolant hoses will soon need to be replaced (I didn't see any leaks). Do you know where do I get those and what other parts are assosiated with this job.

Thank you NISTECH.

you get the hoses from the dealer ship also get the 4 clamps and ask for the updated ones that have a release tab you pull off and the clamp springs closed on the hose. the tab keeps the clamps in the fully open position till you pull it off.

I dont clean mafs but i have seen posts on here where other guys have had sucess doing it. as a dealer tech we pretty much are told to replace them rather then chance damaging them with a solvent. liabilty s*** bothers management i guess.
