11:1 cr piston trade/standalone questions

Ok im looking to use a T04b turbocharger with a front mount intercooler 72lb injectors walbro fuel pump, but i don't wanna send my ECU back to Jim Wolf and the gang. Can anyone explain how exactly the Standalone works better (if it does) than a tuned ECU and/or could explain how a standalone is made. This is the only major problem hindering the start of my turbo Ka project.

I also have 11:1 cr JE pistons that i've used for less than a year that i'd like to trade for some 8.5:1->9.5:1 cr pistons, or purchase new ones if thats not possible, please help!:help

know where i can get some cheap injectors too??? i think my 550cc injectors are too small...ur oppinion?
