2007 Versa S

10000-40000kms, a/c fixed 3 times. I think there were just replacing parts till they got the right one.

10000kms, warped rotors.

76000kms, exhaust gasket.

100000kms, door to the little compartment above the radio broke. Plastic piece around the key hole on the drivers door fell off.

108000kms. Flange between the exhaust pipe and muffler broke. And new problem with a slight hesitation when giving the car a little gas on the highway.

Im happy with my car. I think thats not too bad 2 years of driving and 108000kms. The car is leased but I think i'm going to buy it out next year. Just wondering if anyone else has had some of these problems.

By 160,000 km on my first Versa, I'd had none of these problems (and not since then that my son's had it). At 88,000 km on my daughter's 2008 and 28,000 km on my 2008, we still haven't seen these problems. Between us I had the passenger airbag cover issue when I bought my 2007, and she had the fuel pump regulator issue on hers, but that's it for the three.

Gmader,

<< 76000kms, exhaust gasket. >>

Is this the exhaust manifold gasket,or one of the gaskets on the exhaust system after the engine ?

Thanks

Was it making any noise? After my engine warms up, I often get a tapping / knocking noise.

I can't help but assume that the noise that you are talking about is normal. These motors tend to make a noise often mistaken for an engine knock.

I had several people and dealers tell me my engine noise was "normal" until a dealer pulled the head and found cylinder #4 a total mess.

Nope, all it sounded like was a exhaust leak.
