So my '05 Altima 3.5 has over 101k miles on it and I'm looking to get my upgrades started. I know i'm gonna get I/E and suspension redone. I need some suggestions on making the engine stronger after that without spending like i'm buying a new car. Maybe a SC or Turbo in the future. Does anyone think its possible? If you have experience with this motor let me know what you know!!

Thanks!!J in ATL

there's plenty of different i/e's around for the altima. there's no SC yet for our cars, but there are a few turbos. do you have a manual or cvt? cause the cvt isn't strong enough to support a turbo for very long (so i've heard)

I have an automatic. CVT if you will. Its an '05 so i'm not sure if it has CVT. Anywho I want to make more power to the ground. This is my daily driver. Its fun now but i'm putting miles on the motor and I want to "sure it up" so the engine doesn't flip out on me.

The 05 has a 5 speed automatic transmission with a manual mode. Very different from the CVT offered in the 07+ models.
