Purchased a new M35X in Feb 2009, as of this week I hit 100k miles- mostly highway around NYC metro area. My car looks and runs like the day I left the dealer.

- The following is what has gone wrong so far:
- Interior door trim replaced on warranty - dealer
- 1 front wheel bearing replaced 6 mos ago - dealer
- Driver side floor mat grommet wouldn't hold at 90K - replaced online floor mat store.

-Maintenance:
- Normal 3K oil changes with regular oil - done at local tire store
- Currently on 3rd set of tires - Toyo Versada all season - tire store
- Currently on 3rd set of brakes - tire store
- Currently on 3rd air filter - tire store
- Flushed trans and radiator, replaced cabin air filter, idle adjustment - dealer at around 90K
- Interior and exterior detail after every winter - local car wash

- Car has never been to dealer for a mileage interval check-up - total rip-off

This is my 2nd M35 and my other German car owner friends are shocked at my lack of problems.

Hey there , glad to hear about your report. Another example of reliability , these cars are keepers unless you have money to switch new cars each year.
Like a few of my co-workers used to ask me a few times " why didnt you buy a German luxury vehicle ? " I just replied " I am too poor to buy sh*t ".
